Hi, I'm Julie, and I'm passionate about helping students gain confidence to make the best choices during the college application process.
Head Coach Julie Pron has worked in education for nearly 30 years. She earned a Master's in Education with various certifications. In addition to Educational Advising in the forms of college admissions, college transition, and college success, she's an adjunct professor of literacy at West Chester University.
Julie is a member of PACAC and a pending member of IECA. She is also a Director of Pennsylvania's PACAC Camp College 2023.
The Team U story
Team U College Coaching was founded in 2020 by Julie Pron, an educator, adjunct professor, and communications strategist with over two decades of student advising experience. Filled with enthusiasm for helping students develop their independence and learn to represent themselves, she began working as a college admissions coach and college advisor to help students navigate the overwhelming college process and the transition to college. It was from conversations with families on topics such as college research, application strategy, time management, study habits, organization, goal planning, presentation skills, and more, that Team U College Coaching was born.

Since then, Team U has grown to include programs for a wide swath of needs most notably college application planning and essay writing. Team U’s outstanding record – every one of our college planning clients has gotten into multiple colleges on their list – is filling our class rosters and helping us to grow.
At Team U, we recognize that we each have a unique and compelling story. We help students to discover their story and let it guide them on their path to college independence. As a member of each student's team, we walk with them on their application and college journey.
We coach. They do.
Whether crafting a resume, creating a college list, responding to an essay question, approaching a visit, developing an admission timeline, or just understanding why a college feels right, each student has their own unique ways to approach the process. By generating a plan that uniquely fits the student, Team U helps them develop a special package to introduce themselves to the college world through their applications.
